INTENTION

The project endeavours to make a simple and elegant bridge that has a minimal visual impact on the context. A stress ribbon structure is chosen in order to reduce the construction to a thin concrete slab and a thin steel handrail spanning lightly between the trees. This structural simplicity is combined with a generosity in the making of a new public space on the east side around the existing tree, seeking to create a place of communication for the locality.
