Residential Development at The Pines, Herbert Park Lane
The proposed development is an extension to the existing Herbert Park Lane development built the 1990s. A new 5 storey apartment building is designed alongside the River Dodder and then steps down to three storeys on the south and west to reduce its impact on the existing apartments. The building contains 30 apartments and a gym for the use of all the residents. Its curved profile relates to the existing apartment buildings and will be constructed with a similar technology of precast concrete panels with a Bath-stone aggregate finish. Generous, recessed private balconies are folded into the building to provide shelter and maximum usability.
